March Edition of the Sonic Pioneers!

Welcome to another edition of the EDGE Sound Research newsletter, Sonic Pioneers. As always, we are thrilled to have you a part of our journey to reimagine the everyday audio experience.

Here is a recap of the February newsletter in case you missed it:

The Latest with EDGE Sound Research:

This week we successfully built and tuned the first full ResonX Core + MiniKD full system prototype. The experience is finally ready for prime time, so we are locking our designs and starting the assembly of all 50 Alpha bundles.

This journey has been wild as in 15 months, we have designed and tested 5 generations of the ResonX Core units. Through community feedback, we are making sure to introduce this new experience to the world the correct way.

Lastly, as a teaser, our team has been working on the first B2B system that will change the way you view sports. More to come in the next update as the full reveal of our first B2B implementation will be provided in early April.

News in Gaming:

The past two weeks have been very eventful in the world of gaming, to start things off Gran Turismo 7 hit shelves everywhere last week and I for one could not wait to get my hands on it. With already incredible graphics the experience was made even sweeter through the use of one of our first ResonX Bundle prototypes, creating what I can only describe as exhilarating and adrenaline-inducing.

Next, we finally had the long-awaited release for Steam's first handheld gaming device, the Stream Deck. Bringing a whole generation of people to the world of mobile gaming, a place where Nintendo pretty much sat alone since the PlayStation Vita was discontinued in 2019.

Lastly, the most recent development in gaming was the surprise announcement for Blizzard's Overwatch 2 PvP Beta. With its predecessor, Overwatch, already being one of the biggest names in E-Sports the announcement of this beta has definitely got the gaming world, as well as us at EDGE, excited for what comes next.
